Our strength

The company has a wide knowledge in environmental impact assessment, environmental audits, occupational health and safety, community engagement and social welfare.

This is demonstrated by a diverse mix of clients that have entrusted us with their compliance needs.

These ranges from Environmental impact assessment for new projects as we follow up to ensure that environmental impact assessment license is issued for specific projects; Environmental Audit for the existing facilities which included conducting environmental measurements such as Noise emissions from facility point source as provided in legal notice no. 61 of 2009;

-Emission from onsite thermal plant/generators, stuck emission measurements; as per air quality regulations of 2014; sampling and testing of Effluent discharges from the facilities as per the provision of water quality regulations of 2006. Besides undertaking tests that protect the public, we do test that protect individual employees such as occupational heat intensity exposure, noise exposure, radiation exposure and other ergonomics.

All the test are done in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Act of 2007.

We also have undertaken various safety audits in various institution both public and private. See the annex for safety audits that we have undertaken. A detailed work methodology, workplan and schedules shall be provided upon request and if we have been shortlisted for the next stage.

FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENTS

The company has the following equipment that enable them undertake the assignment

MASTECH Sound Level Meter MS6701

MASTECH Sound Level Meter MS6701 which is used to measure the noise emission from the generators

IMR2800P flue gas analyzer

IMR2800P flue gas analyzer that is used for measurement of flue gas from the standby generators.

Polucon Services (K) Limited collaboration

A collaboration with Polucon Services (K) Limited, a NEMA designated laboratory for handling environmental measurement where necessary.

Oriental Automation EA Limited collaboration

We have a contractual agreement with Oriental Automation EA Limited for provision of spectrum analysis services. This includes provision of spectrum analysis equipment, training,calibration among others.

Reliable and powerful logistics

We have a leased 4wheel drive that can reach in remote area when assigned to.

Insurance

- All our staff are covered with medical cover. We also have statutory WIBA cover for any eventuality during field operations.
- We also have professional indemnity cover that covers our clients on the risks against our activity.
- We ensure that all our vehicles are well covered before they embark on any journey.

Safety policy

- We have a strict health and safety policy and we ensure all our staff and subconsultant adhere to it. Our policy stipulates measures that must be observed in order to prevent any acute safety incident. These include but not limited
- All vehicles used must be roadworthy at any given time.
- No driver should be allowed to use phone during driving.
- Drivers must always obey traffic signs.
- Any potential occupational hazard identified must be reported immediately to the supervisor etc .

Continuous training

Our firm is committed to continuous training where staff are subject to on work training. This is necessary so that the staff learn on the emerging trends as well as new information . this is necessary as Safaricom ventures into 5G network which needs information upgrade.

CERTIFICATION OF THE FIRM.

The firm has been registered by as Firm of Expert by national environment management authority since 2017. It also has agreement with registered OSHA advisers to conduct health and safety audits whenever necessary. See the current OSHA registration certificates.
